Billing

Billing and customer information is handled by our 3rd party supplier Stripe https://stripe.com/.

How it works

We offer direct payment with credit-card straight in the app, but with an Enterprise license, we also offer an invoicing option payable via bank transfer. Credit-card payments and invoicing are managed by the billing system provided by Stripe and will automatically renew on a monthly or yearly basis.

When a client has finished to sign-up flow, the billing tab becomes available in the app. From the billing tab, the user can click on the “Manage Billing” button to fill out credit-card information. This page is hosted by our 3rd party supplier Stripe.

We do not store any of this information outside of Stripe.

Depending on what subscription the customer has chosen, Stripe sets up a recurring payment and will automatically charge when the trial period has ended unless a customer cancels before that time.

For Amplify to be able to send invoices, that live up to legal requirements, the client will also need to fill out organisation information. This includes organisation name, company name, address, phone, email, and tax information.

Web pages, that collect and edit this information, are hosted by Amplify in AWS. Data is sent to the Stripe API and only stored in Stripe - no data is kept on Amplify services.
